£500 million of our tax money is spent helping the British arms trade sell death around the world. The government department - DESO - also sponsors one of the largest arms fairs in the world at ExCel in London's Docklands.
This is one of the many areas of military spending to which we object in conscience being made to fund through our taxes, so we joined Campaign Against the Arms Trade's march from Newham to the ExCel exhibition centre. A blockade the next day hampered arms dealers trying to get to the arms fair
